Following on from the 2020 release of the Assurance Documentary and subsequent Assurance Podcast Series, Juba presents: The Assurance Compilation.

Assurance started in 2020 with Juba’s documentary that was filmed in Lagos, Nigeria and explored the experiences of females DJs in Nigeria and since then it has expanded to focus on women DJs in the Global South. The Assurance Compilation brings together femme DJs and Producers representing Latin America, Asia, The Pacific Islands, Africa and the Middle East, in a 10 track energising display of creativity from across global dancefloors and musical ecosystems.

Featuring music from exciting and hugely talented artists, the compilation follows a journey which unites sounds from Deep House, to Techno, Amapiano to Baile Funk and more, creating a globally empowering experience, showcasing female talent away from the Global North.
